Qualified Immunity on Trial: James Farr Reports

James Farr is an independent journalist who writes for The Los Angeles Progressive. He is also host of the online show The Conversation Live. He is in Florida covering the civil lawsuit seeking justice for 14-year-old Andrew Joseph III. After more than eight years, the Joseph family is finally going to court to try to hold the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department accountable for the death of a young boy who should have had his entire life ahead of him. His life was stolen on February 7, 2014, and the police responsible for his death have eluded accountability under the veil of qualified immunity.
