TONY WAFFORD,  (right) President and CEO of “I Choose Life Health and Wellness Center”, (ICL), an organization founded to address health disparities in the Black community. He works tirelessly in partnership with the National Action Network and its entire membership to educate them on health literacy, increase access to health screenings, along with HIV testing and education, as he does with many other collaborative partners.

CYNTHIA DAVIS, (center, next to Dominique) is an Assistant Professor and Program Director in the Medical Sciences Institute at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She has a Master’s degree from the School of Public Health at UCLA. Professor Davis has worked for the University developing HIV/AIDS-related education, primary prevention, risk reduction, research and community outreach projects for the past 27 years.

TINA HENDERSON, PhD, (left) is the Program Manager of the Ladies of Diversity Program (LODi) at JWCH Institute, Inc. LODi is a HRSA-funded Special Projects of National Significance whose primary purpose is to address multi-level barriers to HIV care by enhancing and facilitating timely entry, access to and retention in quality HIV care for women of color (African American and Latina). JWCH Institute, Inc. is a private non-profit, medical services corporation that was founded in 1960 to provide free services for low income, medically indigent persons.

  1. That was an excellent show. You should have more like them. Where is the event on Tuesday going to be?
